Stephen Douglas

Stephen Douglas has been active in the resurgence of realist painting in the Southern California area. His work is in numerous private, corporate and museum permanent collections including the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Arnot Museum, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Vanderbilt University, Northwestern University, Louisiana State University and the Aschenbach Foundation. Douglas’ work was recently shown in "Re-presenting Representation" at the Arnot Museum, as well as a traveling exhibition of Southern California realists entitled Re-presenting LA. which had venues at the Frye Museum in Seattle, Washington, the Corpus Christi Museum in Corpus Christi, Texas and the Laguna Beach Art Museum in Laguna Beach, California.
