Dean Chamberlain

Dean Chamberlain received his BFA from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1977. His photography has been used in music packaging for Duran Duran, David Bowie, Paul McCartney, Deborah Harry, Madonna, Arcadia, Berlin, Missing Persons, Marshall Crenshaw, Roy Orbison and Stan Getz. He has directed music videos for Arcadia, Paul McCartney and Duran Duran, for which he received an MTV Breakthrough Award for directing. Critically acclaimed for his photographic series on the elder pioneers of the modern psychedelic movement, Chamberlain’s work has been featured in galleries and museums worldwide and his portfolios have been featured in many fine art publications. He is currently at work on a series of portraits of contemporary artists.
